Union Gospel Mission is a beacon of light that brings hope, comfort, and love to the lost and overlooked individuals in Sacramento. They share the gospel with everyone who walks through the doors as well as care for physical needs. The staff and volunteers show the love of Christ to the homeless by serving them in many ways: providing nourishing food, safe shelter, clean clothing, warm showers, and hygiene items/other essentials. Everything is absolutely free of charge! Not only that, but they minister to/pray with the guests, take the time to listen to them, and come alongside them to offer hope and healing. I am so thankful for this ministry.
